The Australian Department of Jobs and Small Business offers a number of programs and incentives to match suitable workers with employers.
Here is a snapshot of what is on offer from the Government to cater for younger and mature job seekers.
Transition to Work Program
Available for job seekers aged 15 – 21, this program provides pre-employment support and financial incentives for employers for taking on suitable candidates. Employers are eligible for up to $6,500 over 12 months for eligible participants. For more information about the program click on the following link:

Restart
Restart offers financial incentives to employers for hiring workers over the age of 50. Employers are eligible for up to $10,000 over a 6 month period, and employers are also ale to negotiate how the payments are made. In some cases, employers are able to receive 40% of the entire payment just 4 weeks after a worker commences. This is a huge financial bonus to be able to offer an employer.
